The Relaunch!

Ah yes! The ole blog relaunch! Hello again friends.
So a quick update on where the magazine is at, the online edition is very very close to being ready. Our boy Derek has been whompin’ ass getting everything flashing and spinning and buzzing correctly, and it’s looking very excellent.
The print edition of issue 13 is at the printer, I’ve seen the proofs and approved em, I’m just waiting to hear back from them as to when they’ll be headed my way. I am guessing a couple weeks more but I’ll update you all when I know for sure. It is 112 pages and I dare say some of the most important articles we’ve published.
The online edition will be for subcribers only and you’ll get your log in info with your magazine. We went ahead and set up accounts for every single subscriber so it would be quick and easy.
We also got the subscriber only forums up and running, which will be a lot of fun as well.
The first online edition has lots of articles as well as a 9 minute film I made of the one year anniversary march on Fur Free Friday proetesting Schumacher Furs. It was an amazing day, very inspiring, you’ll see in the footage.
There’s an interview with Jennifer McCann of Vegan Lunchbox fame, Danielle from Vegan Treats, a photo essay on an animal hospital in India (the companion article is in the print edition), a slideshow of artwork from Ashley Watson, a survey of some of the best online vegan food blogs (with recipes), an very great piece caled “The 10 Best Things We Ate In NYC”, a little rant by me about my growing frustration with environmentalism that refuses to advocate veganism, and a whooooole lot more.
If we get the site completely finished early we might go ahead and email all of you subscribers with login info so you can get started before the print edition ships. You’ve all been very patient while we got this rebuild done and I wanna get you some content as soon as I can. Updates on that as things get finished up.
Ok! New blog up and running, look for daily updates for a while, I’ve got so much to talk about!
