Saturday and Sunday! Come help out at the circus!

Posted by Josh on March 27th, 2007 in Activism.

The circus is coming to Portland this weekend. Food Fight, IDA, and us are mobilizing the friendlies to come help pass out info to unknowing circus goers about the state of the animals they’re paying to see. We’re working up a list of other things people can do with their families this weekend to give them options that don’t involve animal abuse. We’ll also have leaflets about the circus and how the animals are treated. Please come join us, this one is going to be really friendly and educational. I don’t think most people care one way or the other about the circus, but they go because it’s something to do. If we can get them some info about what is really going on, and our list of other family type things they can do, I am betting most of the people we reach won’t come back next year.

Here is the flyer, please come out and help the animals!

Hi HM, I work for the spain based AR org Equanimal as self-taught copywriter. Also I am currently a member of Equanimal Open Rescue Team. We’ve just carried out an Open Rescue of seven hens from a battery hen farm. We’ve youtubed the Open Rescue:

    It includes english subtitles.

Unfortunately, we don’t provide an english version of our websites. But if you want have a look or you can read spanish our Open Rescue website is:
